A country kid at heart, Belinda Clark grew up playing any sport available to her. But it was cricket that truly captured her imagination and propelled her to challenge the conventions of her time. The only girl in the team to the only woman in the room – it’s been a journey of finding a way.
From leading the dominant Australian Team on the field to effecting change in senior executive roles off the field, Belinda has consistently sought to make a positive difference, push boundaries, and challenge conventions.
Being surrounded and supported by countless individuals throughout leadership challenges, Belinda knows how important it is to have people in your corner who help you along the journey. Those people have inspired Belinda to turn her attention to paying it forward and helping others step up and take on the challenge and thrill that leadership provides. This is the genesis and mission of The Leadership Playground: to make the world a better place by providing women and girls a sporting chance to lead.
