Turning pro in 1988, he has played for over two decades on the PGA Tour of Australasia, the European Tour, Japan Golf Tour, PGA Tour and Nationwide Tour. During that time he has won the Australian Masters twice (in 1998 setting the tournament record of 268 (24 under par), a record which stands to this day), played in all four majors, the President's Cup (selected for the International Team in 1994), and the World Cup. He also holds the record for the largest winning margin on the Asian Omega Tour when he won the 1996 Players Championship by 12 strokes.
Current work
A regular contributor to Golf Australia, continues to coach and play, and is a favourite speaker of corporate audiences with his light-hearted stories from on and off the course of his playing days with the likes of Tiger Woods, John Daly and Greg Norman. He is also a popular choice for corporate golf days for his ability to provide tips and tricks to instantly improve your game.
