Brihony and their older brother were raised in suburban Melbourne by their single mother, Faye. Brihony was an extremely enthusiastic (hyperactive) child (little troublemaker), and their mum was quick (desperate) to channel their energy into sport and performance. Brihony’s creativity came from their dad, a talented, multi-award-winning copywriter for Clemenger Advertising Agency. After years of battling addiction, Brihony’s dad, Brian, passed away when Brihony was fifteen. The loss of their dad completely shattered Brihony’s world, and they quickly descended into a chaotic and destructive lifestyle. Brihony, who has since been diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder, continues to fight their demons and stay connected to their true self. Brihony shares the ways they have managed to flourish in their darkest moments and still be able to access, what they call, their ‘superpower’.

Since then, they have performed as a lead vocalist and MC across the corporate entertainment scene and at major sporting events. More recently, they launched onto television screens across Australia on The Challenge, Fox Footy and the Women’s Footy Show. Brihony is a rare entertainment force.
