Chantelle
Ralevska

Founder & CEO, Psyber

She/Her

Attacks are more realistic than ever. Education is no longer optional, it’s necessary.

Profile

Chantelle Ralevska is a trusted voice in cybersecurity, recognised for her fresh, fearless, and innovative approach.

After protecting some of Australia’s largest and most complex organisations, including Macquarie Group, Westpac, and Woolworths, Chantelle identified a critical gap: best-practice human risk management wasn’t reaching far enough.

She founded Psyber to change that. Her mission is bold: to empower one million Australians with the skills and confidence to stay cyber safe. Under Chantelle’s leadership, Psyber has educated more than 450,000 Australians and built a reputation for strong results, close collaboration with clients, and a commitment to reducing cyber threats. In a male-dominated industry, she’s also working to create visibility for women in cybersecurity.

Chantelle plays an active role in shaping Australia’s cybersecurity conversation, sharing insights through podcasts with leaders such as Shark Tank’s Nick Bell and being featured by publications including Women’s Agenda and Commonwealth Bank.

Talking Points

Cybersecurity Isn’t a Technology Problem, It’s a Human One

Cybersecurity is often framed as a technical issue, but modern cyber attacks don’t start with technology failures. They start with human behaviour.

In this keynote, Chantelle Ralevska flips the traditional cybersecurity narrative. Drawing on real-world incidents, behavioural science, and frontline experience, she shows how cybercriminals manipulate trust, emotion, urgency and familiarity, and why even smart, capable people fall for attacks.

Rather than fear-based messaging or technical overwhelm, this session empowers audiences with clarity, confidence and a new understanding of their role in cyber defence.

Key Themes
* Why human error is the leading cause of cyber incidents
* How attackers exploit psychology
* Why “awareness training” often fails, and what actually changes behaviour
* The shift from compliance to culture
* What everyday people can do to reduce risk (at work and at home)

Audience Takeaways
* A clear understanding of how modern cyber attacks really happen
* The confidence to recognise manipulation tactics early
* Practical habits that reduce personal and organisational risk
* A sense of ownership and cybersecurity as everyone’s job

Cybersecurity is no longer an IT issue, it’s a leadership and governance responsibility.

This keynote is designed specifically for executives and decision-makers who are accountable for risk, reputation and resilience. Chantelle breaks down cyber risk in clear business language, cutting through technical jargon to focus on what leaders actually need to know.

She explores how leadership behaviour, culture and decision-making directly influence cyber outcomes, and why many organisations remain exposed despite heavy investment in technology.

Key Themes
* Why cyber incidents are now business-ending events, not IT disruptions
* Leadership blind spots when it comes to human risk
* What boards and executives are personally accountable for
* How culture, tone and visibility shape security outcomes

Audience Takeaways
* A clearer view of their role in managing cyber risk
* The right questions to ask security and technology teams
* Practical leadership actions that drive safer behaviour across teams

AI Changed the Threat: What Every Organisation Needs to Know About AI & Security

AI isn’t coming, it’s already here, and it’s changing cybersecurity faster than most organisations realise.

In this keynote, Chantelle explores how AI is reshaping the threat landscape on both sides: how employees are using AI tools at work, and how attackers are using AI to make scams more convincing, more personalised and harder to detect. This session demystifies AI risk without hype or fear, focusing on what’s actually happening now, and what organisations must do to stay ahead.

Key Themes
* AI data leaks: How everyday AI use can expose sensitive information
* AI hallucinations: Why AI confidently gives wrong answers, and the risk that creates
* AI-enhanced social engineering: Voice cloning, deepfakes and hyper-personalised scams
* Why traditional awareness training isn’t enough in an AI world
* How human judgement becomes more important, not less
*
Audience Takeaways
* A practical understanding of AI risks in plain language
* How to use AI safely without stifling innovation
* Red flags to watch for in AI-enabled scams

Creating Your Own Platform: Lessons from a Female Founder in a Male‑Dominated Industry

In this empowering keynote, cybersecurity founder and CEO Chantelle Ralevska shares her journey from senior roles inside some of Australia’s largest organisations to launching Psyber, a cybersecurity education company born from a clear gap she identified in the market.

In an industry where women make up a small minority of the workforce, and even fewer are founders, Chantelle offers a candid look at what it means to step up, be visible and lead in rooms where you are often the only woman. She explores how she built credibility, influence and confidence in a highly technical, male‑dominated sector, while backing her own judgment as a founder.

Chantelle highlights why representation matters and challenges narrow definitions of who “belongs” in tech, showing how diverse skills and backgrounds, from law to communications, can translate into successful careers in cyber and beyond.
Ideal for International Women’s Day events, women’s networks and leadership forums, this session blends lived experience with practical insight, offering an honest look at the challenges and opportunities facing women building careers and companies in male‑dominated industries.

Key Takeaways
- How to own your space and build credibility in male‑dominated environments
- The shift from employee to entrepreneur, and learning to trust your own judgment
- Why broadening pathways into tech strengthens teams, culture and capability
- The role of visibility in inspiring the next generation of women leaders
- Practical ways organisations can invest in women beyond a single calendar moment
