Cheryl Bart has stood at the top of the world, on seven continents, with her daughter! Cheryl has also skied - unsupported - to the North and South Poles and in doing so became the 31st person in the world to achieve The Explorers Grand Slam.

She's not only climbed to the top of mountain peaks, she's made her way to the top of the business world, too. Recently, she was appointed as Chairman of Powering Australian Renewables Fund - a joint venture of AGL, QIC and The Future Fund.

Cheryl Bart uses her leadership experience to motivate and inspire her teams to greatness. Her philosophy is to take responsible risks and she develops no-nonsense leaders who can succeed in times of uncertainty.

Current Work

A banking and finance lawyer Cheryl serves as a Non-executive Director on the boards of ME Bank, SG Fleet Ltd, Audio Pixel Holdings Ltd, TedXSydney and The Invictus Games Sydney 2018.
Cheryl is also the immediate past Chairman of ANZ Trustees, FARE, South Australian Film Corporation, the EPA and the Adelaide Film Festival. She has also served on the boards of the ABC, FFA, Spark Infrastructure Ltd, South Australian Power Network, Local Organising Cttee Australian Asian Cup 2015, Prince’s Trust Australia and The Australian Himalayan Foundation.

Previous Experience:

Awards: In 2009, Cheryl was awarded an Officer of the Order of Australia for service to the economy and cultural development in South Australia, work with welfare organisations and contribution to sport. With daughter Nikki she was also awarded the Australian Geographic Spirit of Australia, for being the first mother/daughter team in the world to climb the Seven Summits. Cheryl was named among the AFR’s 100 Women of Influence.
