Media Personality, Journalist and the Bachelorette.

Georgia captured hearts around Australia in her 2016 season of The Bachelorette and as a seasoned journalist has become one of Australia’s favourite media personalities.

At the time she was approached to be The Bachelorette, Georgia was the prime-time weekday news anchor for WIN News Tasmania. Prior to that, Georgia had been the network’s weekend news anchor and a general news reporter for nearly two years, covering state and national elections, court and criminal reporting and the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race, amongst other national events. Georgia has also spent two years in Launceston as a general news reporter after being stationed in Gippsland at Prime 7, as well as a stint in Radio for Hobart’s 7HOFM.

Georgia experienced the biggest whirlwind of her life as The Bachelorette on the Channel 10 ratings smash reality show in 2016. After a nation-wide search, Georgia’s impressive career accomplishments, down-to-earth nature and warm personality made her the clear choice for the role.

It was impossible not to fall in love with Georgia on the show and as a result, she has built a strong following as she charmed viewers with her grace, emotional intelligence and air of confidence.

Current Work

After the show, Georgia went back to the newsroom and landed a role as a reporter and weather presenter for 10 News in Melbourne. She also appears as a regular guest panellist for The Project and Studio 10.

Outside of television, Georgia is a highly sought-after public speaker and MC, having worked for clients including Priceline, Nescafe, Mimco, Chadstone, Palmers Skincare & Eastland Shopping Centres, the Mothers’ Day Classic, Breast Cancer Network Australia and Barnado’s Mother of the Year.

Georgia is also the official ambassador for The Pancare Foundation, a cause close to her heart after tragically losing her mother to pancreatic cancer six months after diagnosis. That deep personal connection has inspired Georgia to do all she can to help raise awareness of this devastating killer and is honoured to officially represent Pancare.

Georgia is also a current ambassador for Bondi Protein Co.
