Georgie Parker is one of Australian sports media’s most versatile voices, with a presence spanning television, radio, digital and print. She is currently a co-host on Brisbane’s Rush Hour on Triple M, and writes a weekly opinion column for The West Australian and The Nightly.

A former dual-code athlete, Georgie brings genuine sporting pedigree to her commentary: an Olympian with the Hockeyroos, a Commonwealth Games gold medallist, and a Hockey World Cup silver medallist with over 100 international caps for Australia, who went on to play AFLW for Collingwood.

Her infectious, outgoing, and strong-minded personality, combined with a journalism degree, has underpinned a broadcasting career spanning nearly a decade. Georgie previously featured on Channel 7’s Armchair Experts and The Sunday Session and pre-game of the AFL Grand Final, and has worked as an AFLW boundary reporter. She has hosted and commentated major international events including the Olympic Games (Summer and Winter), the Australian Open, US Open, Roland Garros and Wimbledon.

Georgie’s broader radio experience includes a national Olympic program, Going for Bronze on Triple M, ABC Grandstand, and 3AW’s AFL and AFLW coverage, as well as work on SEN. Georgie also hosted Channel Nine’s AFLW Weekly podcast.

Georgie has consistently been named on The Talent Index Top 10 broadcasters in Australia list, alongside some of the country’s leading media figures.
