Previous experience

Education: Helena graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery and she believes in slow ageing despite fast living. She shared her mother’s journey with lung cancer and her father’s adventure with dementia. She speaks from both a personal and professional perspective.

TEDx: Dr Helena was a Sydney TEDx Fast Ideas finalist and and her book NeuroSlimming - Let your brain change your body won Bronze medal in the international Living Now Awards for books that contribute to positive global change. Her second book In Search of My Father - Dementia is no match for a daughter’s determination - is a warm and humorous account of how anyone can build a better brain at any age.
