Jessica
Bailey

Who You Are is Your Power. Your Voice is Your Legacy.

Embrace all that you are and liberate your voice—because that is how you create true impact.

Profile

Jessica Bailey does more than tell stories—she transforms the way people see themselves within them. Born in a small Nigerian village and now a proud African Australian, she has turned her personal journey of cultural and racial dislocation into a powerful platform for change.

Her own story is one of resilience. Taken from her external home and later stripped of her internal one, Jessica was taught to hide her identity, culture, and mother tongues in order to belong. Years of displacement, racism, and domestic violence pushed her far from herself. But after a decade of invisibility, Jessica returned to her roots—bold, authentic, and unapologetic. In reclaiming her African identity and her true voice, she discovered that the power and peace she had been searching for were within her all along.

Today, Jessica is recognised globally storyteller, author, transformational coach, and advocate for inclusive leadership. She holds a degree in Screen Production and Journalism, with Honours in Communication and Media, and has authored three books, including I’m Not a Nurse and Your True Voice. Her award-winning Screenwest-funded short film I’m Not a Nurse, adapted from her memoir, challenges stereotypes and amplifies underrepresented voices.

She has been trusted to deliver keynotes and panel discussions on platforms such as Rio Tinto, Women in Technology WA (WiTWA), and the Margaret River Readers & Writers Festival.

Through her signature True Voice framework of— Story → Voice → Purpose —Jessica equips leaders and organisations to find clarity in their narratives, building trust, courage, and innovation that lasts. Audiences walk away not just inspired, but empowered to lead with greater authenticity and impact.

Whether addressing corporate leaders, community changemakers, or the next generation of trailblazers, Jessica leaves her audiences with courage, a renewed sense of their own voice, and the tools to create meaningful change.

Feedback
At our Fusion Biz Co. International Women’s Day event, we knew we were in for something special, but nothing could have prepared us for the sheer power of Jessica Baileys’ speech. From the moment she took the stage, you could feel the energy in the room shift. 400 women, all powerhouse business owners and leaders, sat in complete silence, hanging onto every single word. Jessica commanded the room with a story so raw, so moving, that it reached into our hearts and stayed there. It was the kind of speech that transformed you at a soul level. By the time she finished, there wasn’t a dry eye in sight. And when the standing ovation erupted? It was nothing short of electric. Fusion Biz Co
