Kate Mac is one of Perth’s most sought-after media personalities with over 20 years’ experience across radio, television and live events in Australia and overseas. After nearly a decade with NOVA 93.7, Kate returned to Nova Entertainment to launch SmoothFM Perth where she has been the breakfast announcer for the last three years. Under Kate’s lead, SmoothFM finished 2025 as Perth’s number one DAB breakfast show.
Awarded her own solo show at just 22, Kate’s career has spanned international roles in the Cayman Islands and national programs, including NOVA’s Fitzy & Wippa breakfast and national drive shows. She is an accomplished television presenter with Channel 9, hosting a range of lifestyle and travel programs including Destination WA, Everything Outdoors, The Amazing South Coast and Great Winter Escapes.
A natural on stage, Kate is a highly in-demand MC and host, recently engaged for major festivals, benefit concerts and corporate events. Kate has worked with the likes of CCIWA, The Meh Gala for Anglicare, Wizard Pharmacy, Tourism Bound WA Tourism, and Claremont Quarter.
She is also a qualified personal trainer, spin instructor, voiceover artist and keynote speaker with a strong passion for health, wellness and mental wellbeing. With a local loyal following, Kate enjoys collaborating with Perth-based brands and events.
