Reimagining work for a healthier, more human future.

She/Her

What if work wasn’t the problem - but one of the most powerful solutions to human wellbeing?

Profile

Dr Kat Page is on a mission to change the world of work - and she’s inviting you to help build what comes next.

An organisational psychologist and author of the forthcoming book Good Work: Transforming Your Work from the Inside Out (Wiley, 2026), Kat challenges leaders to rethink how work is designed so people can thrive while delivering sustainable performance.

As both a trusted leadership advisor and Adjunct Professor, Kat brings over two decades of research and real-world insight across industries including healthcare, mining, finance, retail and government. Her work spans resilience, psychological safety, leadership, high performance and work design - translating complex science into practical shifts leaders can apply immediately.

But this work didn’t begin in a boardroom.

Growing up as the daughter of two police officers, Kat saw firsthand how work can both hold people together and quietly break them. That early awareness shaped a lifelong commitment to ensuring work becomes a force for health, dignity and sustainable performance.

Kat doesn’t deliver presentations - she changes the way people see themselves and work.

Through powerful, and often playful, storytelling, sharp insight and practical frameworks, she helps audiences recognise the pressures shaping their workplaces and the leadership choices that can transform them. Leaders leave with a new lens for designing work that supports both people and performance.

There is laughter. There are moments of recognition. There are uncomfortable truths - handled with care. And there is possibility.

Audiences leave clear, brave and ready to lead work differently.

Good Work: What if Work Was the Solution to Wellbeing?

For too long we’ve treated work as the cause of burnout and wellbeing as something we fix outside of it. This keynote challenges that assumption and shows how designing Good Work - with the right balance of meaning, autonomy, connection and challenge - can drive both wellbeing and performance.
It examines the implications of this perception for workplace culture and leadership, emphasising the need for leaders to create a safe environment where stress can be openly discussed without stigma and with a focus on the work-based causes of stress.

By addressing how these gendered perceptions of stress impact both men and women, the presentation offers strategies for leaders to foster a more supportive and inclusive atmosphere, encouraging honest conversations about stress and well-being with the goal of creating more mentally healthy workplaces.

Psychosocial Safety: Balancing Load, Latitude & Leadership

Psychosocial risk is now a leadership and legal priority, but real change comes from redesigning how work actually happens. This session introduces a practical framework - Load, Latitude and Leadership - to help organisations create safer, healthier and higher-performing workplaces.
Key Takeaways:
- Mental health, psychosocial safety, and well-being in organisations, from early awareness to contemporary best practices.
- The historical context of workplace mental health, highlighting key milestones and shifting attitudes towards employee well-being.
- The integration of psychosocial safety measures, emphasising their importance in creating supportive work environments.
- Examine current trends and future directions.
- Actionable insights for organisations to foster a culture that prioritises mental health and well-being, ensuring a sustainable and productive workforce.

The Performance Paradox: Slowing Down to Speed Up

In a world of constant urgency, pushing harder often undermines the very capabilities performance depends on. Drawing on neuroscience and leadership research, this keynote shows why strategic pauses, recovery and reflection are essential for sustained high performance.
Key Takeaways:
-Explore the biological and psychological mechanisms behind recovery processes, highlighting the importance of rest, relaxation, and active recovery strategies.
- How effective well-being practices can improve cognitive function, emotional resilience, and overall productivity.
- Equip individuals and organisations with the tools to optimise mental health and sustain high performance with evidence-based insights and practical techniques.

Beyond Burnout: Fix Work, Not the Worker

Burnout is often framed as a resilience problem, but the evidence points to something deeper. This session reframes burnout as a work, relationships, and systems issue and shows how leaders can reduce strain and unlock performance by fixing the system - not the person.

Change Agility: Adaptive Leadership in Uncertain Time

Change is accelerating, yet the human brain is wired to resist uncertainty and threat. This keynote explores the science of change and equips leaders with practical strategies to build adaptability, clarity and resilience in their teams.

Radical Humanity: Leading in the Age of AI

As AI transforms the workplace, the uniquely human capabilities of leadership matter more than ever. This keynote explores how leaders can practice Radical Humanity—amplifying judgement, empathy, meaning and ethical decision-making in an increasingly automated world.
