Is My Phone Reading My Mind: Demystifying AI, Algorithms & Everyday Technology

Artificial intelligence is already embedded across the tools, platforms and devices we use every day, shaping how we work, communicate and make decisions.

This session demystifies A.I., exploring how it works, where it is headed, and importantly the ethical questions it presents.

Are We Being Replaced? AI, Automation & the Future of Human Potential

As artificial intelligence moves from novelty to everyday reality, it is raising a bigger and more urgent question: are we being replaced?

This keynote looks beyond how A.I. works to explore how it is reshaping work, home life and society, and whether the future it creates will diminish human relevance or unlock new possibilities for us all.

Future Proofing Australia: Reversing the Decline in STEM

As emerging industries such as A.I., privatised space exploration, cutting-edge biomedical research and consumer-ready robotics rapidly reshape the future of work and the global economy, Australia’s declining STEM performance and participation present an urgent national challenge.

This keynote examines where STEM stands today, where it is heading, and how Australia can rebuild the skills, confidence and curiosity needed to thrive in the industries of tomorrow.

The Hidden Weight: Mental health, vulnerability & showing up for each other

Taking care of our mental health is one of the most important things we can do, yet for many people, the struggle remains hidden,
misunderstood and rarely spoken about.

In this personal keynote, Matt explores the hidden battles people carry, shares lessons from his 25-year mental health journey,
and offers practical tools for creating safer conversations, seeking support, caring for our own wellbeing and showing up meaningfully for others.

MC & Event Hosting

Matt's a natural on stage, warm, sharp and very good at making a room feel held. His Project Hail Mary film hosting at IMAX Melbourne earlier this month was a standout.

Kids Events

With his new digital series 'Why Though' about to launch, Matt is able to tailor his content for kids of all ages.
