Michael
Pope

Versatile humourist and entertainer.

Profile

Michael Pope holds a unique place in the Australian entertainment industry. A former TV presenter himself, Michael has been the first choice for audience warm-up since 1990 and has worked on more studio audience-based programs than anyone else. Whether it’s the raucous noise of The Footy Show crowd, or the more intimate audience of Shaun Micallef’s Mad As Hell transforming a disparate group of 200 into one cohesive audience is what Michael does better than anyone else through his energy, quick wit and great sense of fun.

It is this same sense of entertainment that he brings to his corporate work, whether it be as MC of an Awards Night, Gala Dinner, as conference facilitator or any event where an audience gathers. In addition, Michael can perform any number of 'acts' ranging from five to 45 minutes. His forte is in improvisation and inclusion, and guests feel very connected to the event during any one of his 'you had to be there' moments of Mentalism! With over 30 years’ experience in the corporate sphere Michael can be relied upon to bring a professionalism, enthusiasm and sense of fun to all his work.

He also spends his time as a speaker coach for people wanting to improve their presenting skills.
