Born and raised in Manchester, England; now a proud Australian, Georgie Carroll is a comedian, nurse, wife and mother.

Her bluntness and charm coupled with a razor-sharp wit, give her a broad-spectrum appeal that can be put into any room, with any line-up, and shine. She has been featured on the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Oxfam Gala, and is a regular guest on Have You Been Paying Attention?, Hughesy We Have A Problem, Talkin’ Bout Your Generation, Celebrity Name Game and many more.

Her live work has seen her win Best Comedy Awards at both Adelaide Fringe and Perth FringeWorld festivals, and take out ‘Most prolific writer’, ‘People’s Choice’ and ‘Comedian of the Year’ in the Adelaide Comedy Awards.

Current Work:

Georgie has toured shows around Australia over the past few years, with her 2017, 2018 and 2019 shows all enjoying Sold-Out runs at all the major festivals, including the Adelaide Fringe and Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

As well as performing in a live environment, Georgie draws on her 18 years of Emergency and Intensive Care Nursing experience to write about health topics with her own no-nonsense, playful banter. She also draws on her motherhood of 2 children, and her relationship with her husband to bring out the humour in living with and raising a family in her own unique way.

Georgie is perfectly suited to any type of corporate function, whether it be at a Convention, Gala Awards Night, Company Celebration or Union Gathering. Georgie will add pizazz and brighten up an event and always ends up delighting audiences and being the highlight of the evening.
