Expertise
Talking Points

We are getting fatter and sicker. What are we going to do about it?

We are getting fatter and sicker - and what we can do about it, especially in relation to nutrition. For 40 years we have been telling people the wrong things about what we should eat and the results have been disastrous obesity, Type 2 diabetes, Alzheimers disease etc. It is time to re-think what we have been telling people to eat.

A Life in Sport and Medicine

All I ever wanted was a job that paid me to watch sport and I have managed to do that all over the world for the past 30 years. Team doctor jobs with AFL, national swimming, hockey, and athletics teams, the Socceroos and Liverpool FC, the Australian cricket team, Olympic and Commonwealth Games, World Cups and Ashes Test series have given me a unique insider's view of elite sport.
