Profile

Rebecca Morse is an award-winning South Australian journalist and well- known media personality.

She presented Adelaide's 10 News First bulletin for 14 years and co-hosted SAFM's breakfast show for six years.

You'll currently find her writing for the Advertiser and hosting the popular In the Genes podcast with her eldest daughter Grace.

Rebecca is also a contributor to the KIIS radio team and has a column in local parenting magazine Kiddo.

She is a sought-after and experienced MC, having hosted successful events for charities and organisations including the Australian Hotels Association, the Australian Medical Association, Business Chicks, Kickstart for Kids, Ronald McDonald House, Adelaide Fashion Festival, and the Port Adelaide Football Club.

Rebecca is a proud ambassador for Kickstart for Kids, Catherine House, the Lisa Fahey Foundation and the Port Adelaide Football Club.

Previous experience:

Rebecca was born in Adelaide and educated at Blackwood High School, before completing a Journalism degree at the University of South Australia.

She won a cadetship with the ABC in Adelaide in 1998 and embarked on postings in Port Pirie, Darwin and Brisbane, returning to her home town as a senior reporter and presenter for ABC TV and radio news, before her successful stint at Network 10 from 2006 to 2020 and SAFM from 2019 to 2025.
