Rhydian Cowley is a three-time Olympian in racewalking, winning a bronze medal in the mixed team relay event at the 2024 Paris games.
On and off the race track, Rhydian is a passionate advocate for the environment and for climate action. He is an ambassador for the Sports Environment Alliance & EcoAthletes, and earned an IOC Athletes for Good grant in 2023.
Rhydian is also committed to giving back to his sport and community. He is secretary of Athletics Australia's Athletes Advisory Committee, team co-captain for the senior 2023 & 2024 teams, and volunteers at his local community garden and food hub.
