It’s never too late to change career direction at any stage of your life. Sally's journey illustrates this and shows it’s possible to achieve success even if the path is unconventional and seems risky at the time.

How to establish a creative career that feeds your soul and puts food on the table.

Work is an important part of our lives in many ways - one of them is it pays the bills. Finding the balance between working creatively and supporting yourself is crucial. You can then move beyond survival into creative mode. One factor in achieving this is building a network. Your network will get you started and sustain you, so it needs to be nurtured.

Adjust to the new normal

Employees are setting new boundaries, and this includes untangling from the idea that a sense of self is connected to the work they do. Today more people are playing an active role in shaping their working life gaining a stronger sense of safety and control. The one thing to remember about the new normal is the situation is constantly changing. Remain focused on what you want for yourself and think of ways you can navigate your way around every new situation.
