Dr Daniel Nour – Dr Daniel Nour, Founder of Street Side Medics and 2022 Young Australian of the Year, shared his leadership philosophy shaped by his upbringing as a first-generation Australian, his career as a cardiologist, and his drive to create lasting social impact. With honesty and humour, Daniel reflected on the challenges of convincing others in the early days of Street Side Medics and how persistence turned it into a vital service delivering free, quality healthcare to people experiencing homelessness.
Daniel offered audiences practical leadership strategies, case studies, and success metrics that highlighted how to mobilise teams, secure resources, and expand reach. He also showed how embedding social responsibility into corporate culture can drive meaningful change, leaving leaders inspired to empower their people and make a measurable difference.

In her keynote, Renee shared the importance of creating safe spaces where others can thrive, emphasising that true leaders don’t just take a seat at the table; they bring others with them. Her session highlighted how diversity in STEM and leadership is not only a moral imperative but also a competitive advantage, driving stronger teams and more innovative industries.
Nik & Harry Robinson – Founders of Good Citizens Eyewear, Harry and Nik, brought energy and humour to the stage as they shared their entrepreneurial journey of transforming recycled plastic bottles into stylish eyewear. Their story proved that sustainability and business success can go hand in hand.
They highlighted how the best solutions often come from unexpected places, and how fear of failure or judgment can hold teams back from innovation. For Good Citizens, every problem is an opportunity—the bigger the problem, the bigger the solution, and the bigger the story. In a world of disrupted supply chains, shifting labour markets, and rising demand for sustainable, locally made products, they showed how simplifying challenges, applying clever design, and maintaining a purpose-driven mindset can spark innovation across industries.
