In 2015 Saxton Speakers Bureau celebrated its 50 year anniversary in spectacular fashion in Melbourne.
The celebrations, hosted by broadcasting icon Mike Munro, included some of Australia's brightest minds such as Ita Buttrose AO, Dr Michael Carr-Gregg, Dr Gill Hicks, Rachel Botsman, Tim Cope, Vinh Giang, and Layne Beachley.
Saxton Speakers Bureau was founded by the late Joan Saxton in 1965 who built the business from a place where speakers used to perform for the price of a taxi or a new pair of stockings, to an enterprise where Australia’s brightest minds were being paid to present. Her relationships with the speakers were rock solid, a factor that is still integral to Saxton’s success.
